Our Quality Control and Health & Safety programmes are well established and extend to all levels of personnel throughout the company, regardless of position.  Our training policies we use are innovative with specific courses to cover Induction, Orientation of Site, Work Schedules, Equipment Skills, Fire Precautions, Health and Safety, Working with Hazardous Substances and COSHH and Supervisory/Management Skills Development. 

All our training programmes adhere to the relevant authority stipulations and where appropriate are undertaken in association with the British Institute of Cleaning Science of which MN Support Services is a Corporate Member.

Employer’s Responsibilities

  • Consult with relevant persons to identify the information, instruction, supervision and training required, taking into account the level of skills, knowledge and experience required, the risks identified in the workplace and any relevant, specific individual needs.
  • Undertake a training needs assessment for all employees and provide the necessary training identified
  • Ensure that the demands of the job do not exceed the employee’s ability to carry out their work without risks to themselves and others
  • Prioritise information, instruction, training and supervision based on risk assessment and ensure that any high-risk needs are met first
  • Determine the most suitable method for delivery of the information, instruction and training, including the use of internal and external providers
  • Assess the suitability of the information, instruction, supervision and training and its effect on the employee and/or the business to enable changes, modifications or additions to be made if required.

Specifically, MN Support Services will provide information, instruction, supervision and training for employees:

  • On recruitment/induction
  • When moving persons to another task or promotion
  • When the workplace environment, process, equipment or system of work is changed
  • If a review of risk assessments, safe systems of work and training needs determines a refresher programme is required.
